Writing
From a young age I have been fascinated with the idea of creating my own stories. I lost myself in the works of Roald Dahl, Caroline Lawrence, and Michael Morpurgo.As I began looking at the career prospect of being a writer in the last days of High School, I became influenced by Tom Clancy, HP Lovecraft and Matthew Barry.In 2017 and 2018 two of my works were successfully performed at the Galloway Theatre in Cape Town. 30 Minutes and Five Letters.My favourite genres are Dark Fantasy, High Fantasy, Techno Thrillers, Cyberpunk and Science Fiction in general.My Inkitt has several short stories available to read from my early days, and are free to read.
Voice Acting.
Ever since I was little I fell in love with cartoons and video games. I've always wanted to be part of the world of voice acting, especially as it allows far more variety of roles.A Demo Reel is currently in development.
CAMERON HARRISON
Born in Richard's Bay, South Africa, and then raised in the United Kingdom, spent two years in Qatar where I got my GCSEs, then moved back to South Africa and finished my schooling again with the CAPS syllabus, I then qualified for Speech and Drama at the Waterfront Theatre School in Cape Town, South Africa.It is during the later stages of my school and early days of my college that I developed my love of Writing, and then after that my love of Voice Acting.
WHY THESE CAREERS?
Writing and Voice Acting are professions that most people would normally turn their nose up at, but I absolutely love it. Seeing the words appear on a page as you work on it, or the dialogue you spent five hours composing come to life for a scene is one of the most amazing feelings.I one day hope to inspire people to follow their dreams, and show that it is possible for people to get into this industry.
